Jeremy Mattoon has recently been named MDX Executive Director. Overseeing all MDX programs to guarantee continuity and quality control throughout the MDX program.
Coach Mattoon has been coaching lacrosse at every level for the past fifteen years. He has coached youth, high school varsity, collegiate, and international teams. He spent five years coaching at the collegiate level where he experienced tremendous success as a recruiter, motivator, and field general. Coach Mattoon has been awarded Coach of the Year honors four separate times; most recently, as the head coach at Hood College in 2011 where he was named the Capital Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and led his team to the conference playoffs for the first time in program history.
Coach Potts is a PE teacher and Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Blake High School. In 2006 he won a DIII National Championship with Cortland State. Coach Potts was selected as the 2017 Montgomery County Coach of the Year.
Coach Puhl has been coaching high school lacrosse in Montgomery County for 9 years. He began at Northwood High School where he was named "Northwood Coach of the Year" in 2014. He took over the Richard Montgomery HS program four years ago and just set multiple school records, including most single season wins in program history in 2018. Puhl was born & raised in Montgomery County and currently teaches physical education at Argyle Middle School. Coach Puhl is passionate and motivated to raise the expectations for his athletes & program!
Coach Oliver is the Defensive Coordinator at St John's College HS in Washington, DC. In addition, he teaches History at the Mater Dei School in Bethesda, MD working to coach their Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse teams as well. Coach Oliver was awarded OBGC Coach of The Year honors in 2014.
